La Loma Resort

Polaris World are the developers of this resort and they have commissioned the famous Mexican architect Jose de Iturbe to design La Loma. He is renowned for his works with the natural elements of space, light and colour which achieve a modern and slightly minimalist effect. His use of colour on the exteriors of the buildings with varying shades of brown, orange, pink and white, make La Loma quite unique.
The communal areas include the Tambor and Plaza de la Guitarra which are very attractive shopping areas with fountains, small squares, pavements and cycle paths that link the entire complex.
The Resort With just 470 properties in total made up of 328 spacious apartments 78 or 88 square metres in size, 80 villas of between 114 and 240 square metres and 62 bungalows of 93 or 128 square metres, La Loma Resort has a low building density which extends over a 525,000 square metre site.
With interior patios to let in maximum light, plazas, pedestrian walkways, natural earth colours of the buildings and with the fountains and walkways the design of this resort is quite special. With its modern minimalist and uncluttered design giving La Loma a great feeling of space, it is the ideal resort to relax and unwind.
Location Located in the beautiful Banos y Mendigo which is just ten minutes from the stunning beach and warm saltwater lagoon of Mar Menor, La Loma Resort occupies a prime site on the Costa Calida. Map of La Loma.
With beaches offering every variety of water sport on your doorstep and with the historic town of Murcia just a 15 minute drive away, La Loma Reort offers excellent amenities and good transport communications to the rest of Spain and europe. With the choice of three airports: Alicante is a 40 minute drive, San Javier 15 minutes or the brand new airport at Corvera even closer at 10 minutes, the resort is easily reached by road via the Murcia-San javier dual carriageway or Alicante-Cartagena motorway.
The Heart of La Loma The Town Centre at La Loma has been designed so that it is constructed around a beautiful open and arched plaza in the shape of a guitar. The "neck" of the instrument is a stairway that leads to a waterfall which connects to the central fountain in the square. This trickles down to the "base" of the guitar which is a shady pergola acting as an ideal meeting place for residents. It is here in the Plaza del Guitarra that the 2,450 square metres of shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets are located.
Polaris World are the developers of La Loma, and they have drawn on past experience to put together an excellent package of services for their clients including maid service, technical maintenance, interior and exterior decoration and home furnishing.
La Loma is a private residential development which is totally enclosed within a perimeter fence and offers 24 hour security with CCTV.
