Location Overview The development is located just 400 metres from the main gondola and 5 minutes from Bansko's quaint town centre. It is 160km from the capital Sofia where the newly improved international airport is located, and 180km from Plovdiv, the second airport that services Bansko.
In addition to the many infrastructure improvements Bulgaria is undergoing, Bansko is in the preliminary phases of a proposal to construct a new airport. This airport is planned to service Bansko all year round as it is not only a popular ski resort in the Winter season but also a superb summer destination. A highway is currently in progress between Sofia and Kulata, a town close to Bansko on the Greek border. It is estimated to be completed by 2008 and to cut the travel time to Bansko from Sofia by 30 minutes.

Development Location The development is located in an excellent postion: 400 meters from the existing main gondola station, 390 meters from the newly proposed gondola station and with one of the best views of the towering Pirin Mountains. A series of footbridges over the River Glazne are scheduled to be built by the municipality this coming season that will further improve access to the gondola stations. These are due for completion for the 2007 ski season.
